    Fairwell Kabs!

    It’s with sadness we farewell Kabs. He has moved interstate and that he will be greatly missed.

    Experience

    Kabs moved to Australia from Johannesburg in 2001 and grew up inspired by David Attenborough documentaries and his dad’s work as a veterinarian. His bond with the family dog, Jadoo, confirmed his path, and he later gained hands-on experience at Hurlstone Agricultural High School and in his dad’s Sydney clinic.

    He graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Sydney in 2017 and moved to Canberra the following year, joining Harrison Vet Clinic when it opened. Kabs loves seeing the special bond people share with their pets and has particular interests in geriatric care, feline medicine, and treating small mammals, wildlife, and backyard poultry.

    Outside work, he enjoys sketching, playing the harmonica, hiking and camping. He also loves to laze with his tabby cat Cleo and watch ’90s blockbusters.
